He holds the distinction in Post Graduate in Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry from IARI, Pusa, New Delhi and holds B. Sc (Hons) degree in Agriculture from BCKV.
Subrata has over 33 years of leadership experience in Development Banking particularly in Agriculture & Rural Infrastructure Finance, Micro-finance, Corporate Planning, Farm & Off-farm Development, Institutional Development and Financial Inclusion. He brings with himself 7 years of rich experience in Corporate Governance & Administration as Joint Director of BIRD and CGM of Jharkhand RO & West Bengal RO of NABARD. Prior to that, he was instrumental as a Nominee Director, in the turn-around of multiple Regional Rural Banks and State Co-Operative banks and ensured their sustainable profitability.
